2025 By-Election Information

OFFICIAL BY-ELECTION RESULTS FOR OFFICE OF MAYOR MARCH 1, 2025

Election Results - Preliminary

Ballots Cast: 1740
Voter Turnout: 22.93%

These  results are based on the tabulated results of ballots cast at Advance Voting opportunities, submitted Mail Ballots and on General Voting Day and are the official election results by the Chief Election Officer.

Why a By-Election?

The Local Government Act requires that a by-election be conducted to fill a vacancy when circumstances arise, such as a resignation. In this case, Mayor Stone's departure has created the need for a new mayor to be elected.
