Business Licences

The Town of Ladysmith is pleased to offer inter-municipal business licences with the City of Duncan, the District of North Cowichan and the Town of Lake Cowichan. Your Ladysmith business licence is valid when you offer mobile business services within these three other communities.

The cost of an annual business licence is $100.  If you are a new business to Ladysmith and apply between July 1st and December 31st, your cost will be prorated to $50.  For more information about Town of Ladysmith Business Licenses, contact the Financial Services Coordinator at 250.245.6414 ext. 6210, or email bl@ladysmith.ca.

Inter-Community Business Licence

Ladysmith business owners that travel to other municipalities to carry out work, can now purchase an Inter-Community Business Licence for an additional $170.00.

Dog Licences

All dogs over the age of 4 months must be licensed in the Town of Ladysmith.  Annual dog licenses are available at City Hall during regular office hours, and at the Frank Jameson Community Centre. You can renew your dog's licence as early as December 1st for the next year.
