Ava

Ava is a returning Sustainability Ambassador from summer 2022 and is excited to be able to build on her efforts from last year and find new ways to increase Ladysmith’s sustainability. 

She is entering her third year at the University of Victoria where she studies Geography and has a passion for geomorphology and mapping. 

Taylor

Taylor is entering her fourth year VIU where she majors in creative writing. Through her writing, she aims to deepen reader’s ecological awareness.

Taylor comes from a small town in Northwestern Ontario and enjoys the community spirit that Ladysmith emulates. This is her first year as a sustainability ambassador and she’s excited to contribute to the town’s vision of a sustainability.
