Provincial election sign permit forms now available

Ladysmith, BC - The provincial election is underway and that means one thing — election signs.

With that in mind, the Town is reminding all candidates that they must obtain a temporary sign permit before placing any campaign signs within Ladysmith's municipal limits.

A temporary sign permit is mandatory for any election signage to be displayed on public or private property.

To obtain a permit, candidates must download and complete the application form at https://www.ladysmith.ca/business-development/application-forms/other-application-forms.

There is a $10 permit fee and applicants are required to provide a $100 refundable deposit.

Failure to obtain a permit may result in the removal of signs.

The Town of Ladysmith respectfully acknowledges that we gather and work on the unceded territory of the Stz'uminus First Nation, the traditional keepers of this land.
