Canada Day 2023 celebrations in Ladysmith

The Town of Ladysmith invites you to join in our annual Canada Day festivities at Transfer Beach Park this coming Saturday, July 1, 2023.

On Canada Day, we come together to celebrate and shine a light on our country’s diversity, inclusion and whatever it is that makes you proud!

The event will once again kick-off in the morning with the Ladysmith Kinsmen Club hosting a pancake breakfast by donation.

The official ceremony begins at 11 am at the amphitheatre with the welcome remarks.

Settle into your seats for live music starting at 11:15 am featuring Robbie Hancock, Nate Harris and Dennis Atkins.

The Town is once again grateful to the Stz’uminus Young Wolves Dancers who will be performing as part of the event at 12:45 pm.

As part of the celebrations, we will be serving cake from the Old Town Bakery. 

We also invite you to participate in the Celebrate Natural Ladysmith Scavenger Hunt.
