March 29, 2023 - Road Closure for Resident Alien Filming Downtown

Resident Alien is filming in downtown Ladysmith on Wednesday afternoon and requires the closure of the 1st Avenue and Roberts Street intersection until the early evening. Local traffic only will be permitted during filming.

  • - Access off the Trans-Canada Highway onto Roberts Street will be restricted.
  • - Southbound traffic on 1st Ave will be diverted onto Gatacre Street for highway access.
  • - Northbound traffic will be diverted off 1st Ave at White Street up to 2nd Avenue and across to High Street.
