FJCC aquatics area closed July 19-20th for maintenance

The Town of Ladysmith is scheduling maintenance next week that requires the temporary closure of the Frank Jameson Community Centre aquatics area from July 19-20th. 

The two-day closure will impact the following programs, classes as well as general use of the facility:

  • Use of the Hot Tub and Sauna
  • All Red Cross Swimming Lessons
  • Early Bird Lengths
  • Parent & Tot Swim
  • AM Aquafit
  • Adaptive Aquatic Fitness
  • Deep H2O
  • Leisure Swim
  • Noon Lengths/Parent & Tot/Leisure Swim
  • Everyone Welcome Swim

The FJCC facility including the Fitness Centre, day camps and all dryland programs and classes are not impacted by next week’s closure.

The required maintenance work in the aquatics area allows staff to better prepare for upcoming annual shut down from August 13th to September 6th.

Let’s wrap up the summer with a big splash at the Shut Down Pool Party, August 11th from 6:30 – 8:30 pm.
