Walkem Road sidewalk project moves towards completion

The Walkem Road sidewalk project is moving ahead on schedule.  This week, we poured the curbs and gutters. 

On Wednesday, we poured the concrete sections that connect your driveway to the road.  This concrete needs several days to cure, so you are reminded not to use your driveways until Monday, October 7.

We understand that this may be an inconvenience for you, and we greatly appreciate your cooperation.

We hope to be able to pour the 241 metres of new sidewalk over three days early next week, weather permitting.
