Work Has Started on the Holland Creek Development

Work has started on the new Holland Creek Development.  The work is aimed at improving drainage in the area, improving water quality entering Holland Creek and preparing a development site for the first phase of the new subdivision.

Because the work is taking place in the vicinity of Holland Creek, it is being monitored by a biologist, and the timing is within an approved fisheries in-stream work window.

Actual development of the housing lot subdivision will not start until after the property has been rezoned.  Council must still approve the bylaws to permit that, after holding a public hearing on August 22.
